10 Steps to joining Chesterfield Swimming Club |
- Contact the club via info@chesterfieldsc.co.uk with your child’s name, date of birth and swimming ability (eg badge level, distance) and your name and contact information.
- We will confirm contact and invite you and your child to a trial - these are held most Sundays at Queen’s Park Sports Centre.
- You confirm the trial arrangements and we will look to welcoming you to the club.
- Come to Queen’s Park 20 minutes before the agreed time of your trial. Report to the club desk next to the changing rooms.
- Your child will carry out their trial.
- Following the trial the assessing coach will inform the desk of the recommended class.
- The secretary will inform you of the sessions applicable to your child’s ability and confirm with you the class that suits you.
The secretary will explain the annual membership fee and the monthly training fees and issue a membership pack which includes two membership forms - one for the club and one for the ASA (governing body of swimming).
Membership forms are returned to the secretary with a completed Standing Order mandate and the annual membership fee.
We inform you and the coach that you have joined the club and can take part in the next session for your squad.
Congratulations you are now a member of Chesterfield Swimming Club
– a club which can set you on the pathway to success at the highest level if you work hard and commit to training.
