A Great Place to Work

Are you looking for a challenging yet rewarding career? Look no further!

We are always looking for individuals that are passionate and enthusiastic to join our amazing team of coaches, teachers and background staff in voluntary and paid roles.

Chesterfield Swimming Club is a non-profit making organisation where all the hard work our staff put in goes towards improving swimming provision in Chesterfield. The money we make is used to:

  • Provide opportunities to young athletes that dream of one day swimming at the Olympic Games.

  • Keep pools in Chesterfield open, such as Highfield Hall Primary School, so that children can learn to stay safe in and around water.

  • Keep children and adults swimming regularly to protect their physical and mental wellbeing.

If you're interested in swimming then there is no better place to learn everything there is to know. Our staff are led by Head Coach Mark Tanner who has coached multiple National Champions and medalists at Chesterfield Swimming Club as well as having played an important role in the development many of GB's Olympians such as Abbie Wood, Molly Renshaw and Sarah Vasey. Mark works closely with all of our coaches and teachers to ensure they provide nothing but the best tuition to all of our swimmers.

If you're not yet qualified as a coach or teacher then don't let that stop you. Contact Mark by emailing marktanner@chesterfieldsc.co.uk to find out how he can help you become the best coach or teacher you can be.
